Eskaton Retirement Communities: Telephone Reassurance volunteer

The Eskaton Telephone Reassurance Program provides a unique platform on which new connections are built. Older adults and volunteers interested in expanding their social connectivity develop friendships through regularly scheduled telephone conversations. Would you like to be part of the conversation as a volunteer? If you are over 18 and can invest at least 2 hours a week in friendly phone conversations, please consider joining our team. "Express Interest" and your information will be sent to Lyndsey who will then follow up with a phone call or email to ensure this is a "good fit" for your time! You will need to complete an application, plus provide work history and references prior to volunteering. There are two options for Telephone Reassurance volunteers: - Field Telephone Reassurance: Sign up for two-hour shifts to call multiple participants from your home. - Office Telephone Reassurance: Call participants from the TR office. Flexible hours between 8:00 am and 5:00 pm. *Once local restrictions are lifted.
