Volunteer Day at PNC - Auburn
Get outside and help Placer Nature Center with a spring refresh! Volunteers will have options that may include: weed-eating and garden work, hauling woodchip, raking, and cleaning inside of buildings. *Youth volunteers are welcome, but all minors attending will need a waiver signed by a parent or guardian. Volunteers should wear close toed shoes, be aware of poison oak, ticks, and snakes. Bring your own water and snacks. PNC has wheelbarrows, shovels, rakes and pitchforks, work gloves (washed after each volunteer day) or bring your own tools, gloves. We have masks and hand sanitizer and ask volunteers to follow Placer County COVID Guidelines. Placer Nature Center's vision is to be a partner with, and a resource for, local schools, community groups, and agencies as we, together, deliver the knowledge and model the behaviors that make our community scientifically literate and ecologically sustainable.
