Volunteers needed to support Acres of Hope, a local nonprofit working with women to transition out of homelessness. Give their grounds a refresh by raking, mowing, weed eating, trimming, planting, painting, etc.! If available, volunteers should bring hand tools. Please wear closed tode shoes and clothing appropriate for the weather, and your own work gloves (if desired) and masks. Bring your own water bottles and snacks.
Good for small groups: each volunteer must register and sign up in advance.
This volunteer opportunity is outdoors and "remotely distanced" from the residents of Acres of Hope. Acres of Hope is COVID-19 compliant for volunteer help. Volunteers are asked to wear a mask while on property, are to remain 6 feet from one another (not a household member) and be sensitive to coming into contact with our residents while working on campus.
