2019 Turkey Distribution: Line Monitors

Every year Sacramento Food Bank & Family Services provides turkeys and Thanksgiving items to thousands of families in our region. Volunteers needed in the following capacity: Line Monitors volunteers (5:00-9:00am or 8:00am-12:30pm) must be punctual, will be stationed along the line of guests to help direct them, answer questions and help distinguish the path; must age 18+.

For many recipients, they would not be able to have a holiday meal without this service. This year they estimate that they will serve 4,000 families in a single day -- which means they need a lot of help! All volunteers must be able to stand and walk for the length of their shift.
