They work directly with staff to build relationships with their member of Congress through personal contacts, meetings, and other activities. Typical duties for this position include meeting and talking with legislators at various public appearances, attending and asking questions at local town hall meetings or other community events, and attending Public Policy meetings every other month (in person and call in options available).

Volunteers for this position should expect to volunteer 5 hours a month, and a commitment of one year is expected. Training and support to be provided on an ongoing basis. Please note, a background check is required for this position.
