Sierra Wildlife Rescue

http://www.sierrawildliferescue.org

Sierra Wildlife Rescue SWR is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to the mission of preserving El Dorado County’s wildlife and the goal of rehabilitating and releasing back into the wild, injured and orphaned native animal species. Additionally, Sierra Wildlife Rescue is committed to educating the public on living peacefully with wildlife and respecting its habitat. Our shared desire for livelihood here in the foothills of Northern California results in overlap with established wildlife territory. As neighborhoods continue to encroach into the beautiful environment around us, natural habitats are disrupted by human activities. Sierra Wildlife Rescue is a local resource for information and support when human-wildlife interactions ask us to make responsible choices.
